Overheard in London
A few gems overheard in my travels today:
—Italian woman points to big old building, then turns to small Italian boy and says (in Italian, of course): “Il banco di Gringots. Asi Harry Potter.” Small boy: “GRINGOTS!”
—At the National Portrait Gallery, a ten year old boy is explaining Macbeth to his younger sister: “Naughty Macbeth, he keeps killing people!”
